How to use mTasku?

  • Choose a suitable payment card for the marked spot (by dragging the image of the card to the marked spot on the left)
  • Confirm the payment by tapping the “PAY” button

mTasku is a mobile wallet app where you can store your bank cards, loyalty cards and other mobile service cards conveniently in one place.

You can use the mTasku app with the following smartphones:
- Apple iOS software version 8.0 or later;
- Android 4.4 or later.

The authentication of the mTasku application is a prerequisite for making payments via mTasku. Authentication can be done with Mobile-ID, Smart-ID or bank links. Additionally, you must be authorised by the operator to use data communication services.
1. Download the app and register as a user
2. Add suitable payment and loyalty cards to mTasku.
3. In order to pay, open the QR code scanner on your smartphone and scan the code or touch the NFC mark with your phone.
4. Choose a suitable loyalty card (select it with a tap on the image of the correct card).
5. Choose a suitable payment card (by dragging its image from the right to the marked spot on the left).
6. Confirm the payment by tapping the “Pay” button.

You can add to mTasku all Mastercard and Visa bank cards issued by Estonian banks if online purchases are enabled for these.

In order to add a new payment card, tap on the “Add a card” icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Choose what type of a card you want to add and confirm your choice with the button “Add +”. This will open a security window of LHV-EveryPay card storage, where you can submit the data of your current bank card, which can be found on your card. When the card has been linked successfully, the notice “Card added” will be displayed on the screen.
In order to add a new loyalty card, tap on the “Add a card” icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Choose what type of a loyalty card you want to add and confirm your choice with the button “Add +”.
The list of traders who accept payments via mTasku can be found on the website www.mtasku.ee. The list is extended regularly.
You will find a list of past transactions in the main menu of mTasku, under the selection “Transaction history”, which is displayed by months and includes mKviitung as a detail view. Transaction history is stored in the mobile application for 2 years. You can find the transaction history of a specific payment card by tapping on the icon of that card on the screen and selecting “Transaction history”.
After every successful payment transaction, a real-time electronic mKviitung is issued in mTasku, which is considered to be an official document confirming the payment transaction. You can switch the printing of a paper receipt from the cash register on/off from “Settings and secret code” on the mTasku menu. This is how traders can decrease costs on paper used for printing out paper receipts.
No monthly fee applies to a user of mTasku.
The mTasku application has undergone the necessary security testing.
The security of mTasku is also safeguarded by the security measures that you have applied to your phone and mTasku. In addition to the recommended screen lock on your phone, you must also set a secret code for mTasku, which will be requested each time you open mTasku application and for transactions that exceed €25. Unlike with contactless cards, you can not make purchases by just waving and you must open the mTasku application in order to make the transaction. The mKviitung is only available to you and the corresponding trader.
User data is processed for the purposes of the agreement and is forwarded to third parties to the extent necessary for making the transaction. More detailed information available in the Conditions of Use. Your bank card data is not stored on mTasku, but instead at LHV and the secure card storage of its partner EveryPay. All transaction data of mTasku is encrypted and visible via mTasku only to you.
The size of payments in mTasku is firstly limited by the limits that have been set up for your bank card (daily limit, monthly limit, etc.) and, secondly, by the limits that traders have set up for mobile payments.
In the event that your phone is lost or stolen, you must close your mTasku service via web mTasku ( www.mtasku.ee).
Restore your mTasku by downloading the mTasku application and re-registering as a user. You can easily restore the bank and loyalty cards that you had previously added to mTasku.
When you have replaced your SIM card, you are required to download the mTasku app again, as due to security reasons, the authentication of mTasku includes the verification of your SIM card serial number (ICCID), which is unique for each user.
When changing a phone number, you are required to update your phone number on mTasku. To do so, tap on the “Settings” icon at the top left-hand corner of the screen, then select “Settings and secret code” and “Authenticate”.

When you link your bank card to mTasku, your card data will be saved to the virtual card storage of LHV Pank’s partner – EveryPay. Neither Telia nor other servers or people linked to the solution can see your data or use it in any way. Concerning your bank card, Telia only has information about the 4 last digits of your card and its validity period. This information is also displayed on the bank card visible at mTasku by the service’s graphics server.
